RPF Constable Recruitment 2024: Recruitment starts for 4660 various posts, apply online from here

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is launching a massive recruitment drive across India to fill several positions within its ranks. This recruitment focuses on the posts of Constable and Sub Inspector, in which a total of 4660 Vacancies are available, 4208 for Constable and 452 for Sub Inspector.
The recruitment process began on April 15, 2024, and will conclude by May 14, 2024. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification Required

Candidates should have successfully completed 10th  standard or its equivalent from a recognized educational board. This foundational educational requirement ensures that all applicants have a strong, essential educational background, which is critical to their operational responsibilities. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to work for Sub-Inspector posts. This will equip them with the highly analytical ability and knowledge required for more complex positions and leadership positions in RPF.

Age Limit

The following is the age limit of the applicants:  From January 1, 2024, the age of constables  will be 18 to 25 years. Candidates  must be 20 to 25  years of age as on January 1, 2024  . These age requirements ensure that the candidates are young enough to meet the physical requirements of the job as well as mature enough to assume the responsibilities of the respective positions.

Selection Process

To become a constable and sub-inspector in the Railway Protection Force, it is necessary to follow several stages: written examinations (CBT 1 and CBT 2), physical tests and finally document verification. Physical Ability of the candidates will also be tested as per the nature of demand for Law Enforcement posts. Application Dates

Candidates willing to apply for RPF Constable or Sub-Inspector posts can apply from April 15, 2024, but  the application process will close on May 14, 2024. Candidates get one month time to prepare and submit their applications on the official website in this period.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for OBC and general candidates is Rs 500; SC, ST, women and ex-servicemen candidates  will have to pay Rs 250. This fee can be paid online, which will make it easier for all candidates to participate in the recruitment process.
