The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for SSC JE 2023 on 26th July 2023. Application Process for SSC JE 2023 Exam:

Candidates interested in applying for SSC JE 2023 can do so through the official website of SSC (https://ssc.nic.in/) by filling out the online application form. The application fee for the exam is Rs. 100/-. However, certain categories of candidates, such as women candidates, SC/ST candidates, and ex-servicemen, are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fee can be paid online through net banking, credit/debit card, or BHIM UPI.

SSC-JE Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

The SSC JE examination consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) that includes sections on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and Technical Subjects based on the respective engineering disciplines (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical). Paper 2 is a written examination that focuses on the Technical Subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC JE 2023: To be eligible for the SSC JE 2023 exam, candidates must have the required educational qualification for the respective engineering discipline as mentioned in the official notification. For some posts, a degree in engineering is required, while for others, a diploma in engineering is sufficient. Candidates must also fulfill the age criteria specified in the notification.
